Welcome to Fabulous Everyday Girl

Welcome to Fabulous Everyday Girl! I am just soooooo thrilled that I finally get to publish my first blog-post today!

The concept for ‘Fabulous Everyday Girl’ has been on my mind for a while and I am so excited that it has finally come to fruition! I wanted to create a platform which would address the basic fashion dilemmas of a Fabulous Everyday Girl, whom I shall refer to from now on as the Fab E.D.G. She’s me, she’s YOU!

The blog has been created to inspire your everyday style by providing regular fashion and beauty updates and look-books to make the process of putting you together easier and more enjoyable!

I am a mom of four children (the eldest being seven years old) so I know what it feels like to be in a fashion rut, but I refuse to be a frumpy mommy. I’m a firm believer that if you look good you feel good. Yes there are those who say that it all starts inside, but sometimes your inside can feel like crap! Sometimes getting up, having a refreshing shower and putting yourself together will make you feel better on the inside. A little liner, some mascara, a touch lip gloss and a thought-out outfit can go a long way.

Fashion is about self-expression. Fashion is about self-love. Fashion is about being creative and having fun! This means you should never feel overwhelmed or pressurised. There is something for everyone’s pocket and there’s something for all style personalities and ages. Trends are not meant to be followed blindly - it's all about adjusting them to your individual style.

So,go on ahead and browse the blog, see what 'looks' and tips work for you and be inspired to love the fabulous You because you deserve it.

Why I called the blog Fabulous Everyday Girl:
The blog is named Fabulous Everyday Girl because as we get older and our lives change we are called many things: ‘woman’, ‘mother’, ‘wife’, ‘lady’, ‘aunt’, ‘career woman’. I could go on forever, but deep down inside you can always connect to the girl you were before all the titles.
